Qishr — A Yemeni tradition of warmth, spice, and gathering.
Crafted with Care
Each cup tells a story rooted in ancient Yemeni coffee traditions.

Our Heritage
Long before espresso bars lined Silicon Valley streets, Yemen was brewing coffee in ways the world had yet to discover. Qishr — made from the dried husks of the coffee cherry — was the drink of hospitality, of morning gatherings, of stories shared over steam and spice.
We brought that tradition to San Jose, not as a novelty, but as a living practice. Every cup we serve is a bridge between two worlds.
What Our Guests Say
"The Qishr drink transported me straight to my grandmother's kitchen in Sana'a. Absolutely incredible — I've never tasted anything like it in the Bay Area."
"Amazing drinks and the most comfortable, beautiful café I've been to in San Jose. The pistachio latte is a work of art."
"Great service, warm atmosphere, and the Adeni tea is perfection. This place feels like a cultural experience, not just a coffee shop."
